Taking every opportunity over a period of years to master a wide range of basic skills, he achieved the competence and confidence to undertake independent sub-contracting. Spotting a market opportunity, he decided to specialise in Block Paving, Tarmac and Patio work and set himself up in business as Darren Crane Block paving and Groundwork Contractors. Established in Cheshire now for 20 years, and looking to expand, he has never been without a contract and has built up an enviable reputation for top quality work, reliability and honesty. He is justly proud of his reputation and is determined to maintain the highest standards of quality, execution and customer satisfaction. He regularly takes courses to keep abreast of advances in materials and techniques and is a Marshall's Approved and Bradstone Assured contractor, two leading companies who constantly assess that their exacting guidelines and standards are upheld. Similary, he is a SuDs specialist (Sustainable Drainage Systems) and possesses a Machine Operator's license. He also carries all the appropriate Employer and Publice Liability insurance certificates. Having acquired considerable site work experience, he has recently decided to concentrate on high quality local and domestic work mainly in his own locality. He is a family man and his children attend Weaverham and Sandiway Schools.
